Brief Description

Here is a cupped pillow. There are several installed examples of this design on out web site; see CYL 9 on the Cylinders page. Cupped pillows start with a minimum 3/4" wall thickness in the pillow material, which is then cupped with our tools to create a valley inside the entrance end of the material. The comfort and seal which is provided makes this design exceptional. The design is also available for small O.D. tubes.

Brief Description

A gel lip is available as a service to our customers. This feature does not cushion like a pillow, but is effective in providing an agent to prevent flesh migration, as a pillow does. Thus the gel lip does provide considerable comfort when compared with an acrylic flange.

Brief Description

What started as a way to provide a pillow for all sizes has turned into additional options for the pillow customer and a new service. We can enlarge the I.D. to the degree that the material becomes a sleeve, approximately 1/8" in wall thickness, or even less. Use it over your tube or first stage, letting at least 2" overhang as you install it. As your body enters under vacuum, the material compresses like an accordion. We anticipate the same long durable usage experienced with regular shapes. Let us know your outside dimension.

Brief Description

Here is our VHS model, pictured with a lipped pillow. Other examples may be seen on our Polycarbonate and Cylinders pages. Liping is achieved by turning one edge over and onto the outer wall of the tubular pillow material. The lipped area takes on double the thickness of the material's 1/2" wall, and since it is bonded inside the lip, becomes a stationary gasket which will compress under vacuum pressure, yet still provide a cushion between the user and his hard, sharp acrylic opening. An excellent choice for users who frequently use higher vacuum pressures, while providing an excellent seal.
